Blackwater Tango takes place in Portland, Maine, and also on the eerie, enchanting yet secluded Monhegan Island that lies 20 miles from shore off the coast of Boothbay Harbor.  Only 1 mile wide and 1.7 miles long, the island is primarily an artists' colony that shares its space with a highly protected wildlife refuge, home to seals, deer, puffins, and other rare birds.  The island's 75 year-round residents include local merchants, artisans, and lobster fisherman.  Its rocky cliffs near the lighthouse are some of the highest cliffs on the entire east coast.  Read Blackwater Tango, and experience its magic...
